Pro-life Day

Abortions, Suicide, and Emotional Abuse. These few tragic topics are the primary reason as to why thousands of people are silent today, 10/20/09. Silentday.org is claiming today to be Pro-life Day. Everyone that is participating in this righteous cause will be silent for 24 hours, as a symbol of those who cannot speak, and will wear either red duct tape or a red arm band. I went to the site and read the three main facts and was shocked/stunned. I mean its unbelievable the fact that since January 22, 1973 there has been over 50,000,000 surgical abortion procedures performed, and just in the U.S. alone. There are a couple more shocking facts but I much rather you guys go to their site to get all the info.

Hopefully just seeing the few, yet very important, topics they touch on will broaden your knowledge. We at the Hollyhood Connect find it extremely imperative that we as young people, and really everyone no matter the age, become aware of these things because they're being swept under the rug, and in some cases not acknowledged period. Even when today is over we still want for people to know that these things are going on and have a little insight.
