This world can be so fucking horrible and harsh at times! Sucks that some people are born into the most messed up circumstances not even given a chance to redeem their self, not given time to live a so-called "normal life". Over the past week a five year old girl was in the news headlines as missing, her name is Shaniya Davis, over the days that passed several crews went out searching for little Shaniya hoping and praying that she be found safe and brung home. Monday came and news hit that Shaniya was found, but she was found dead in the next city over in a wooded forest like area. So sad, someone could kill a five year old child, sucks to be that person, so fucked in the mental to have the audacity to commit such a thing! Come to find out, her horrible mother had been trading the little girl for sex to people, and the man that kidnapped her is being speculated as one of the clients. On that Tuesday the day after she was kidnapped they were seen in a hotel hallway and he was holding Shaniya in his arms, she didn’t look like she was in any harm, and its sad, because she’s five years old, I mean how much can she know about being in harms way if she wasn’t taught anything of the sort. The hallway of the hotel was the last sighting of the little girl and the kidnapper. Hopefully as days past by, this story can unfold and we can get more insight on what went down! Monday evening they held a candle light vigil for Shaniya and several people attended, family, friends and residents of her town just to show support since the topic had been so talked about. It hurts me and kind of hits home to me, few years back, I lost a little cousin due to ignorance, nothing of this sort, but due to a senseless shooting, she was sleep in her bed and shots were fired, she was struck in her chest and died on her way to the hospital in my cousins arms (her father); she was only five years old at the time. I don’t believe anyone should lose their life to some dumb shit, no child nor adult. I wish that one day, this world and the way people think could just magically change no more killings, robbing, raping, and beatings anything that leads to someone losing their life could just be ceased! Our condolences go out to Shaniya and her Father that is left w/out a daughter due to nonsense. Our condolences also go out to any other family that lost someone due to a senseless act.
